When Snatchy glanced at Luke, he knew exactly what he was going to do and, above all, what he wanted to do.
In that brief moment when their eyes met, Luke saw all the determination that the little puppet had accumulated, and he was going to do it.

There was nothing and no one to stop them.
Snatchy had looked at Luke with that look, and another tiny tear had fallen from those big carved eyes, and now his little body had absorbed it.

Luke didn’t stop him and unconsciously gave him his branch, and he saw Snatchy moving away very slowly.
This little wooden creature, “had the courage to send,” Luke had thought, but he was sure he could not let him enter the mansion all alone.

He waited a few seconds and then followed him.
With a new branch, Luke looked in the direction in which Snatchy was heading, and only when he realised that his friend had stopped just below the only lit room, did he understand that he would have wanted to climb the high wall to reach that room directly.

He wanted to see how far Snatchy would have pushed himself, and when he has seen that tiny animated branch, has started to climb that wall, Luke has come closer and with delicacy, he has pulled Snatchy on the ground.
Snatchy knew it was Luke, and when their eyes met in the clearing, without speaking, Luke shouted: “What the hell are you doing? Are you trying to get yourself killed?”

Snatchy looked at him with a look of anger mixed with pity. Luke didn’t know which touched him more, but when he said, “My Daisy is there right now, and I can’t stay here without doing something. I want to assure her that I am here for her.

Those whispered words had touched Luke, and looking around, Luke was looking for a quick solution when someone entered the room and threatened them, asking again where it was “the pendant”.
Snatchy and Luke listened to the words, and it was only when Luke looked at Snatchy that he silently pointed to something that had always belonged to Snatchy since Daisy had taken him.

Snatchy, almost had forgotten it, and only when Luke has pointed it, Snatchy has touched his neck, and taking it off, he has looked it deeply, and he has told: “When she has healed me from the wounds, she has given it to me, telling me that it would help the wound to heal faster, and from that she has given it to me, I no longer take it off”.

And looking at Luke with his eyes wide open, he whispered: “This is what they are looking for!”
Looking at his friend and this little gem, Luke has taken it all in so quickly and only one question remains at the end: “What are they going to do with it?”

After a pause, Snatchy has looked at the pendant and after thinking about it, he has sighed: “Maybe they know its healing power and they have someone who needs it”.
Luke looked at Snatchy, and his innocence almost moved him.
“Nobody kidnaps someone for that simple of a reason. There is something else.”
And they both looked at the window where one of the kidnappers was interrogating Daisy, but the only words that came out of that childlike creature were not gentle.

Snatchy smiled and walked away from the clearing: “Ever since I’ve known her, she’s always been a real fighter.”
Luke smiled back at him, wondering what he should do.
She was a fighter, but the fighter also had a point break, and he didn’t know how long she would resist.
Luke has looked around, and when the same question has come out of that window, Luke has taken a look at Snatchy, and he has indicated to him that he would have taken another street to enter and discover something else.

And in the end, Luke nodded and Snatchy understood that he could climb that wall and get into that room.
Very slowly, they took another path and left the clearing.
From far away, a flash of lightning illuminated the whole area, and in those few seconds, they looked at each other and went in opposite directions.”
